Thirty Days of Prayer for My Pastor – Day 20

business-goals

“For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay.”

Habakkuk 2:3

Lord, we are the body of Christ. Together, You have called us to serve You under the pastorate of our called clergy. You have given them a vision for our church and set them over us to fulfill that vision. I pray, Father God, that we would be patient in receiving these visions for what You want to do in and through them. And that You will speak to my pastor Your words to lead us.

Lord, I pray for our clergy to have the strength to remain steadfast when answers do not seem to come quickly and to trust in Your perfect timing. I pray for patience, endurance, and wisdom as we wait and watch.

I ask, Lord, that when it is time to fulfill the visions You have given our clergy, that You would give them wisdom and ability beyond their humanness. And we will taste and see that You are good when we see the results.

And we thank You, Jesus

Amen
