Thirty Days of Prayer for @realDonaldTrump – Day 28: Prayers of the people

people-praying

If you are praying for our next President, I ask you to share this prayer with all that you know. Donald J. Trump and his staff need to know we are praying as we approach this Inaugural Day.

“I appeal to you, brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf, that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in Judea, and that my service for Jerusalem may be acceptable to the saints.”

Romans 15: 30-31

Father God, as we move toward the Inauguration of Donald J. Trump as our next president, I pray that he knows that so many people are praying for him: his safety, his decisions, his staff, his family. I pray, Lord, that he cares that we are praying. Does he even know? I pray that he does.

I pray for those who are supporting him in this very special day; a day when we start on a new journey for America. Bless the people who are praying. I ask, Lord, that you would remind each of us to keep lifting President Trump up to You in the coming years and that we, as a Christian community, don’t let down on our commitment to pray. Don’t let us take for granted the miracle that You have brought to us; the second chance to change the direction of our country. Don’t let us forget our obligation to draw closer to You so that we know the needs of our presidential representatives from the President and Vice – President, Secretary of State, and all other staff that has been placed in position for this purpose: to bring positive, moral, change to America.

God, I pray for those who are planning to picket the Inauguration. Keep them safe, Lord, and speak to them what your plan is and bring peace to their spirits. Draw all Americans together for one cause and one purpose: to serve You, the living God, with our support for President Donald Trump. May his words be,

“I, Donald J. Trump, appeal to you, American brothers, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit, to strive together with me in your prayers to God on my behalf, that I may be delivered from the unbelievers in America, and that my service for the United States of America, may be acceptable to the saints.”

I pray that our President knows and cares that we are praying.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
