if My People Pray… Day 5

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:11-13

When Christians take to the streets in protest for how other Americans are being treated, they are in essence telling God that they know how to handle the situation better than He does.

God’s desire for us is that we live in peace under His divine plan, not fighting with each other to get our way. God is more than capable. He has delivered His people from evil in miraculous ways and we must trust Him to do just that for America.

On our knees. That is how God wants us to fight. He wants us to be a part of His answered prayers through revelation of how to pray. We must listen to the Holy Spirit guiding us when and how to pray and watch how God answers. Trust Him.

Father, we know that Your heart’s desire for us is to be at peace with You and with those around us. Place within our hearts the desire to live for You and to listen the the leading of Your Spirit. Let us diligently search for You. Open our eyes that we might see what is good, honorable, and just for America and for the well – being of all Americans. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
