“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.”
Yes, the election is over. The past three months have seen US citizens in their best and their worst. Those who claim to love America and don’t want to leave were part of the mobs that rioted in our cities and destroyed property and people in the land that they “love.” Others have gone too far the other way. Snarls about and at immigrants, not even knowing if they were legal or not; just lumping anyone that doesn’t look like “us” into a big “you need to go!”
President Trump has not validated any of this. So far, what we’ve seen is a man who is living up to his campaign promises. He has been fair in his assessment of the illegal immigration situation, maintained his stance to bring jobs back to America, and evaluated bureaucracy that slows down the progress in our healthcare, and reconstruction efforts. And, fellow Americans, this is in answer to our fervent prayers.
My tablet has a prayer app on it and, in addition to my prayer board in the War Room, I use this to pray wherever I happen to be. One of the requests that I have set for each and every day is to pray for President Trump and his office. One day may be for his staff, another for a situation that I see him facing while following the news. I also will allow the Holy Spirit to guide me when none of this seems reasonable for me to lift up. I would like to ask you to join me in not letting this spiritual battle go. Christians must stand up for what God tells us is right. We must let Satan know that enough is enough and we are taking America back. In Jesus’ Name! Let’s start right now.
“Father God, You alone are sovereign and we give you the glory for all that You have done for America. We thank You that we are able to openly worship You without fear of government intervention. We thank You for your hand in electing Donald Trump as our president and we thank You for directing his thoughts and actions.
We lift President Trump up for protection: spiritually, physically and mentally. Protect his mind from trying to do things on his own without looking to your Holy Spirit for guidance. Protect his mind from Satan’s deceptive voice pulling him away from his agenda to compromise for the selfish wants of a few.
And, Lord, bless his home and family to be safe from the few who would question every move and try to disprove their family unity. Bless them as they fill their roles as the Presidential Family. Remind them to pray and worship together for the good of the family and as an example to others of their love for You.
Lord, we trust You and we place trust in the man that You have placed over this great country, Donald J. Trump. We give you all the glory.
In Jesus’ Name
