“And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.”
Hebrews 9: 27-28
Father God, I come to You with expectancy of grace for my shortcomings. I extol You above all that I could possibly say or do and I give You glory for the results of this year’s election. It was not our actions, but our prayers for a better country that put Donald J. Trump in the presidential office.
I shouted praise as I heard the Inaugural speech given by President Trump. And I cried as I watched tears of hope roll down my Veteran husband’s face. Thank You, God, for this hope. But, Lord, the dedication to supporting our president does not stop on January 20th; it only begins. President Trump must now fulfill the call on his life to lead America back to the foundation it was built on. We must continue to pray for him to stay on the narrow path You have set before him and not let Satan tempt him to stray to the easier, wider, road of destruction. We must pray for his safety in the face of adversity and we must lift his arms when the battle makes him weary. We must pray that Donald J. Trump always seeks your will each day before he even leaves his bedroom. That he will not try to use his own wisdom, but must daily ask the Holy Spirit to fill him with wisdom, knowledge, and discernment to know what is right and wrong.
Lord, I promise to pray for our President, Vice – President, and each and every member of his supporting staff, Congress, Senate and Secretarial positions. We will not back down, we have just begun to arm our spiritual warriors and together we will make America a sparkle in God’s eye again. In Jesus’ Name!
Amen
