Thirty Days of Prayer for @realDonaldTrump – Day 27:Trust in God

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.”

Proverbs 3:5-8

Father God, we are only eight days away from officially welcoming our new president into his office. Lord, I cannot stress enough the need for President Donald J. Trump and his staff to get back to the roots of America and trust in You with all that they are. I pray that they will not lean on their own understanding, but will allow your Holy Spirit to guide them in each decision, each vote, each issue that comes before them.

I pray that in all ways they will acknowledge You so that You alone can guide their steps in the next four years. I hunger for America to serve You, Lord, and that has to start with our leaders taking us to that place. Respecting human life, loving your Word as our handbook for life, and following You in all ways.

I pray that if there is any unclean thing in any person taking their position on January 20th, that You convict them and cleanse them before that day. Start us out with a clean slate, Lord, and restore us to victory in Jesus.
