Thirty Days of Prayer for @realDonaldTrump – Day 26: The fear of man

“The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe.”

Proverbs 29:25

Lord, this world we live in is frightening. Riots because people don’t get their way; shootings for no reason at all; hatred because we don’t live as others live. Each of these are what makes up mankind.

You have called Donald J. Trump to lead America for the next four years and he is walking into a position that has lost respect of the people. Mr. Trump has put fear into the hearts of those who need to change and the riots and backstabbing is at an all – time high.

Father God, I am asking You to not only protect President – elect Trump and his staff, but to also give them a heart free from fear. Show them how to truly trust in You and your calling to this great task of pulling America together. Release them from wanting to do what man wants, because they are afraid, and replace that with a dedication to doing what You want. Don’t let them become entangled in Satan’s snares as they make these decisions.

Father, I thank You for bringing us to this time and I ask that You watch over America as we transition to our new President. Keep our borders safe. Keep our people alert. And show us how to be a United States of America.
