Thirty Days of Prayer for @realDonaldTrump – Day 19:Respecting Opinions

The saying is trustworthy, and I want you to insist on these things, so that those who have believed in God may be careful to devote themselves to good works. These things are excellent and profitable for people. But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless.”

Titus 3:8-9

The choices for supporting staff and cabinet are almost complete and President – elect Donald J. Trump and Mike Pence are preparing to work alongside these choices to make America Great Again. Lord, You and I both know that there is always going to be controversy and disagreement among these people, but I pray that they respect each other for their differences. I ask, Father God, that their focus would be on how to work together and use their differences as strength builders for America.

Lord, the American people are going to disagree on some directions that are taken. Help us, Jesus, to look at the bigger picture and try to see from the decision-makers’ perspectives. Help us to give them a chance without having to keep putting out fires of contention.

And, Father, most of all I pray for the salvation of each of our leaders. I pray that they have accepted You, Jesus, as the Savior of their lives and that they have turned their thoughts, actions, and decisions, over to You for infinite wisdom. Guide Donald Trump as he completes his choices and help him to only want to please You and carry out your mission for America and the world.

In Jesus’ Name I pray,
