Thirty Days of Prayer for @realDonaldTrump – Day 18: Support for Israel

“But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption. For if the blood of goats and bulls, and the sprinkling of defiled persons with the ashes of a heifer, sanctify for the purification of the flesh, how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.”

Hebrews 9:12-14

Father God, as we move through this celebration of the birth of Christ, I pray that our leaders, past and present, know and respect the place that Israel holds in who we are as a people.

I pray, Lord, that as President – elect Donald Trump comes into office, that the burden of support for your first – born, Israel, is of prime importance to him and to those he has chosen to run this wonderful, strong America. Let us never, Lord, let us never neglect to pray for the remnant that will return to You. Let us never overlook the importance of supporting your people, Israel.

We are your world, Lord God, created by You, designed by You, and protected by You. May our chosen Secretary of State Don Tillerson, fall on his knees each day in prayer for direction in supporting Israel. May each chosen cabinet member, staff and support, remember to pray for the safety of God’s people, Israel, and the part that America must play in that safety. May we all pray that Your New Covenant of grace will fill the heart of each of God’s chosen People. Fill their hearts with hope of eternal life and give them joy of experiencing the fulfilled promise through the living sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Father God, anoint Donald J. Trump and Mike Pence with your holy anointing to lead this country to restore us to the place we need to be spiritually, morally, and financially.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
