Thirty Days of Prayer for @realDonaldTrump – Day 16: Walk in Light

“The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light;
those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness, on them has light shone.”

Isaiah 9:2

Father God, today is a new day. Each day is a new beginning. Each beginning holds a new promise. We have voted for Donald J. Trump to lead our country and we are asking You to shine your light on each step that he takes as he moves into his role as the President of the United States of America.

Light is not always easy to see, but it is always there, even in the darkest of night. Lord, speak light into Mr. Trump’s spirit as he makes his final decisions. Lead his staff in looking to You for their strength, wisdom, and support. For any who have not accepted You as their Savior, Lord, convict them of the need to save themselves from the world and to fill their hearts with love for You.

Diminish the darkness of anger, frustration, and fear and replace each with the light of hope, expectation, and faith.
