Thirty Days of Prayer for @realDonaldTrump – Day 1: His Salvation

Join with me in thirty days of praying for our President Elect – Donald J. Trump. God is ready to bless America again, but only if we stay on our knees and fight the battle together.

“Besides this you know the time, that the hour has come for you to wake from sleep. For salvation is nearer to us now than when we first believed.”

Romans 13:11

Father God, my sovereign Lord, creator of heaven and earth. You are faithful to the faithful and we have seen your glory in this election. So many Christians praying for your will to be done. Dedication to what is right, fasting and praying to remove all obstacles and we believe that You have shown your power once again over the rulers of this world. I believe in the foundation of our country Lord, and that it is built on the cornerstone that man has rejected; your Son, Jesus Christ.

And now the battle for continued blessings on America begins. My first prayer for our President Elect – Donald J. Trump, is for him to realize that You are calling him to be the one who leads America back to God. That he, himself, must not only follow the nuances of Christianity, but must accept the grace and forgiveness that Jesus Christ has offered to him. He must humble himself to the greatness of God, ask for forgiveness from Him, and accept all that Jesus Christ has done for him. He must believe that Jesus not only died for him, but that he is forgiven and will someday have a Return On Investment that is not of this world. I lift Donald J. Trump up to your Holy Spirit for the whisperings of salvation, help him to hear, Lord, and receive. Surround him with solid, Christian friends and acquaintances that he might see that You are the Foundation that he needs to stand on in order to make America Great Again.

Help us to never grow weary of praying for our leaders, past, present and future.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
