Thirty Days of Prayer for My Pastor – Day 25

“do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:6-7

Lord, I ask that my pastor would be a man of prayer who is able to turn every care over to You, his Father. I ask that when problems arise in his life that he would go to You first, and not as a last resolution.

I pray that he would enjoy the peace of mind that passes all understanding in every facet of life. That he would be able to rest at night, knowing that You care and that You are in control. Help him to release any urges he has that would cause him to try to resolve things himself so that Your mighty power can work in each situation.

And, Father, I pray for our church to practice taking every concern and decision to You, our God, in prayer. I ask in Jesus’ Name,
