Thirty Days of Prayer for My Pastor – Day 16

 ^“Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

John 14:21

Father God, I bring my pastor to your throne of grace and lay him at your feet. I ask, Lord, that he would always be an obedient servant to your Son, Jesus Christ. I also ask the he would lead us, his Christian family, to this same obedience to the Words of God.

I pray for a spirit of obedience to Christ to permeate my pastor and our congregation. That the anointing of the Holy Spirit would fill our clergy: music, Sunday school, outreach, children and youth ministers as well. I pray that the Holy Spirit anointing would fill the pews at our church and that we would be obedient to the calling of Christ.

I pray, Lord, that my pastor would enjoy complete fellowship with Christ Jesus, loved by His heavenly Father.
