Thirty Days of Prayer for My Pastor – Day 11

“Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.”

Matthew 5:19

Father God, blessed by Your Name above all names. Blessed be Your Words above all of those spoken by man. Blessed be Your Will for all to come to You through our testimony and the life lived in front of the lost. Bless my pastor to live that life of testimony and to always speak words that will cause others to want what he has…Christ inside.

Lord, I pray for fortitude for our pastors. In this world of trying to get one over on each other, in a sea of deceit, and in the midst of confusion about right and wrong, give our pastors a hunger and desire to only do what is right. Let your Holy Spirit speak truth to them in every situation and let the words that they teach always be measured by the truth of the Bible.

I lift our pastors up to You, Lord. They are human, but they are called by You and I release their humanity to You. Keep your hand of protection around them, protecting them from the temptations of Satan to go around the Law. I ask this in Jesus’ Name.
