Thirty Days of Prayer for My Pastor – Day 6

bare-feet

“And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”

Romans 10:15

I know without doubt that You, Lord, sent my pastor to our church to lead us, and all of those who enter in, out of the darkness of the world. He brings the Good News of Jesus Christ to all who know him, many times without saying a word. Protect him, Father God, from all that Satan would plan to destroy his testimony. Walk with him as he visits hospitals and funeral homes, that he would be aware of every lost soul and that he would be bold in his testimony of salvation joy.

I pray that he would continue to lead lost souls to You, Jesus, and that he would pass that desire to see the lost saved on, to his congregation. I pray that doors of opportunity for witness may be continually opened to him. As he is called to preach in other churches, prepare the hearts of the people before he is even called. Open his eyes to see the lost, even in those who live the life, but have never fully accepted You as their Savior. Reveal the hardened hearts to him and give him the words and the wisdom to lead them to Jesus.

I pray, Lord, that our church would focus on bringing the lost to a saving knowledge of You, the Christ, and that our pastor would lead the way. I pray that he would be an example to his staff for using each day to reach the lost for You.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen
