Thirty Days of Prayer for My Husband – Day 20: His Role in the Church

Servant-Leadership-model

“Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.”

Romans 12:11

Lord, today I want to ask you to bless my husband’s role in our church. I pray that he would serve faithfully and humbly. I ask You, Lord, to open the doors to ministry opportunities that meet real needs in our church body; needs that will allow him to use his gifts and talents for your glory.

I pray, Father God, for his servant leadership and the relationships with the people that he ministers to. I ask, Lord, that he will always follow the sanctions of servant leadership in always speaking the truth, displaying the character of Christ and having a vision for the growth and nurture of our church.

I pray that his mission will be revealed as he lives a life given over to serving others and that he will be bold and answer when your Holy Spirit leads him to step forward in service to the people of our church.

Bless my husband, Lord Jesus, to be more like You and to always see the opportunities to lead others to You.

In Jesus’ Name,

Amen

My blog is my personal insight into living as a godly submissive wife, a mother with "eyes in the back of her head" and Mamaw's Baby Grands can do no wrong. I hope that you will find exactly what you need each time you read. Be blessed. Sheila
