Thirty Days of Prayer for My Husband – Day 11: His Strengths

Strength

“As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace.”      I Peter 4:10

Father God, You have given my husband so many strengths. Some people call them gifts and others call them any assortment of names: talents, abilities, personalities. But the fact is, my husband is a unique individual that has received his design from You. And I thank You for his unique person.

I pray, Lord, that my hubby would recognize his strengths and use them according to your will. I pray that he would not use them to feed misguided pride, but that he would recognize where they fit in with the family of God. I pray that he would be open to areas where You want to use him that may not be something that he has done before. Reveal all hidden strengths to him and show him where You want him to use this new gift.

I pray that he would be a blessing and encouragement to others in using their strengths. And I pray Lord, that you would show me how to support him in encouraging my husband to use his strengths for your good and your glory.

Amen
