Thirty Days of Prayer for My Husband – Day 7: Together as Parents

“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”    Proverbs 22:6

Father God, bless our home. Let my hubby and me always stand together as parents. Lead him in the way of righteousness and let your Holy Spirit be the decision maker in our home. Help him to stand firm against evil entering our home and give him discernment to know every wile of Satan that would try to destroy our family bond. Give my husband revelation when evil is present and boldness to speak in Jesus’ Name to cast it out.

Bind us together in our faithfulness to You, Lord, that no man can ever separate us as husband and wife. Satan wanders around looking for gaps in the family, but I know that as long as we are turning to You, Father God, there will be no gaps. Protect our children from finding their pleasure in the world, Lord, and show them how to find complete fulfillment in Your Word.

Lord, I pray that you would bless me as his wife. That I would trust his judgment, because I have every confidence that he is looking to you for his answers. Help us to come to you together in prayer for everything that affects our family. And teach me daily how to be in submission to my husband. There is no other way to live in peace except with You, Lord, as the head of our family and I pray for my husband to be in complete submission to your will.

Amen
