Thirty Days of Prayer for My Husband – Day 5: Spiritual Growth

“By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.” John 15:8

Father God, I bring my husband to You as a willing vessel for your service. I pray that he would be deeply rooted in your Word. That he would bear much fruit for the kingdom of God. I pray Lord, that he would grow into a leader, reflecting Christ and Christian values in his church, family and community. That all who come in contact with him would see Christ and would grow in their own beliefs and relationship with Christ through his actions and reputation.

I pray that my husband would listen to and allow the Holy Spirit to guide him into all righteousness. I ask You, Lord, to put a hunger inside of him to know your Word whether by reading or hearing, and to let it sink deep into his heart. Bring that Word to his mind when he speaks, thinks, and feels that he might always be on the ready to face whatever comes.

Amen

I hope that you will find exactly what you need each time you read. Be blessed. Sheila
